Privacy Policy

Last updated August 19, 2026

Pickup & Drop ("we", "us", "our") operates the Pickup & Drop customer app, the Pickup & Drop Rider app, and this website (together, the "Service"). This policy explains what information we collect from customers and riders, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

01 Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly, information generated by using the Service, and information from third parties who help us operate it.

02 How we use it

03 Location data

Location data is central to how deliveries work, so we're specific about how it's used:

Location data is used only to operate the delivery service — matching, tracking, and fare distance calculation — and is not sold or used for unrelated advertising.

04 Who we share it with

05 Payments

Card and UPI/wallet payments are handled directly by Stripe and Razorpay, which maintain their own privacy and security practices as PCI-compliant payment processors. We receive confirmation that a payment succeeded and a transaction reference, not your full card or bank details. Cash-on-delivery orders are settled directly between the customer and rider.

06 Data retention

We keep account and order information for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward to meet accounting, tax, and fraud-prevention obligations and to resolve disputes. Delivery verification photos are retained with the associated order record. If you delete your account, we remove or anonymize personal information that is no longer required to be kept for these purposes.

07 Your rights & choices

08 Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures — including encrypted connections, access controls on our systems, and delegating payment handling to PCI-compliant processors — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

09 Children's privacy

The Service is not directed to children, and is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.

10 Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes to the Service or applicable law. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do, and material changes will be highlighted in the app where practical.

11 Contact us

Questions about this policy or your data can be sent to info@demo.com, or through the Contact form on this site.

This policy is provided as a starting template for the Pickup & Drop platform and should be reviewed against your local data-protection laws (such as GDPR or CCPA, where applicable) before relying on it for a live, public deployment.
